`We'll discuss the heart of the Knight of the Swords (/давай/ обсудим сердце Рыцаря Мечей), Corum said. `How do I steal it (как мне украсть его)?

`Come (пойдем), said Shool.

A huge orchid reached out and stroked Corum's new hand (огромная орхидея потянулась и погладила новую руку Корума). He pulled it away (он оттолкнул ее; to pull away — выдергивать, выхватывать).

`What did happen?

`He gobbled them all and fell into a gorged slumber.

`And you crept up and killed him!

`No such thing (ничего подобного)! I captured him (я взял его в плен). `Beyond the Thousand League Reef is a place called Urde that is sometimes land and sometimes water (по ту сторону Тысячемильного Рифа расположено место под названием Урд, которое является то сушей, то водой). `These strange lands (/до чего/ странные земли). On which plane are they situated (в какой плоскости они расположены)?

`On all five where the Knight has influence (во всех пяти, где Рыцарь имеет влияние = правит). Your power to move through the planes will be of no great use to you, I regret (твоя способность проходить через плоскости не сильно тебе пригодится, сожалею = к сожалению).

`I am not sure I still have that power (не уверен, что у меня еще есть эта способность). If you speak truth, the Knight of the Swords has been taking it away from the Vadhagh (если ты говоришь правду, Рыцарь Мечей отнял ее у вадагов).

`Worry not, you have powers that are just as good (не беспокойся, у тебя есть способности, которые так же хороши). Shool reached over and patted Corum's strange new hand (Шул протянул /руку/ и похлопал по новой странной руке Корума).
